About the role
IEEE seeks a Senior Programmer Analyst to lead web development and systems design for the IEEE Communication Society's Drupal CMS, developing and maintaining applications while providing technical guidance to other analysts.
What you’ll do
Lead web development for IEEE Communication Society business systems and Drupal CMS
Provide architecture, application development, and systems design
Develop and maintain applications
Lead technology projects and provide technical guidance to other analysts
Investigate and resolve programming and system malfunctions
Communicate effectively with non-technical staff and interdisciplinary teams
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS or related field (math, physics, engineering)
7-10 years of Drupal design, development, and administration
Command of Drupal 8+ architecture, modules, development, theming, and best practices
Strong knowledge of object-oriented PHP, including PHP 7
Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, Sass, SOAP, REST APIs, SQL, and RDBMS
Familiarity with Apache, Varnish, Solr, Linux, Acquia Cloud, and continuous integration (CircleCI)
