About the role
Toast seeks a Principal HR Integrations Architect to lead Workday integration strategy, design, and implementation across the People Technology ecosystem. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on scalable, reliable, and secure integration solutions.
What you’ll do
Design and deploy scalable Workday integrations
Collaborate cross-functionally with People, Payroll, Finance, and IT
Own integration lifecycle from discovery to optimization
Manage integration service queue and drive root-cause analysis
Enhance monitoring and release testing
Create documentation and mentor team members
What you’ll need
8+ years of integration engineering experience
5+ years designing, building, and supporting Workday integrations
Deep hands-on expertise with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Web Services
Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and security standards
Experience leading cross-functional integration initiatives
Solid understanding of HR domains like HCM, Payroll, and Benefits
