About the role
TRUMPF is hiring an Internal Logistics Data & Process Improvement Intern to support warehouse optimization, inventory accuracy, material flow, and continuous improvement at its Farmington, CT facility. The role involves analyzing logistics data, developing Power BI reporting, improving SAP-related workflows, and supporting Lean initiatives.
What you’ll do
Analyze logistics processes and data to support warehouse optimization
Develop Power BI reporting and dashboards
Support SAP-related workflow improvements
Assist with inventory accuracy and material flow initiatives
Contribute to Lean and continuous improvement projects
Collaborate cross-functionally to translate data into process improvements
What you’ll need
Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
Experience or coursework in Power BI, Excel, or data analytics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to interpret data and translate findings into practical process improvements
Knowledge of inventory management, material flow, Kanban, pull systems, and warehouse processes
Familiarity with SAP or another ERP system preferred
