About the role
BAE Systems seeks a Senior Software Engineer to support a government customer by delivering cloud and enterprise infrastructure engineering services. The role involves recommending and implementing cloud solutions, developing web-based UIs and applications, and applying automation and modern software practices.
What you’ll do
Deliver engineering services for network and enterprise computing infrastructure, including cloud services and virtualized applications
Recommend cloud solutions based on customer/system requirements
Provide analytical and technical support, installation, repair, and troubleshooting in cloud services
Provide cloud guidance and technical support for multi-cloud environments
Develop web-based UIs and implement web apps and support services
Perform cloud design, implementation, and configuration
What you’ll need
Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of relevant work experience
Deep understanding and experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Oracle Cloud)
Linux experience
Extensive JavaScript experience
Experience with automated testing
Knowledge of Agile development principles
