About the role

What you’ll do

• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features
• Debug existing software and correct defects
• Develop and support near real-time messaging infrastructure such as TIBCO EMS, ActiveMQ, Artemis, and Kafka
• Design or implement complex database/data repository interfaces, queries, and algorithms
• Serve as technical lead of one or more software development teams and ensure quality control
• Provide Tier III support on Data Transport Systems and assist with software integration, testing, and deployment

What you’ll need

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (CWIP) required
• 12 years of software engineering experience on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity, or 8 years with a degree
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; 4 additional years of experience may substitute
• Experience with enterprise-grade/server-side Java and Linux development
• Experience with Spring Framework and dependency injection
• Experience with messaging, big data, and distributed computing technologies such as Kafka, Hadoop, and Accumulo
