About the role
OleOle is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to build and scale its global live-scores infrastructure across multiple sports, integrating third-party data providers and designing real-time, provider-independent backend systems.
What you’ll do
Integrate and manage multiple sports-data providers
Design and build a scalable, provider-independent backend
Develop real-time data processing pipelines and APIs
Connect backend services to OleOle's existing platform
Ensure high-volume data synchronization, error recovery, and fault tolerance
Collaborate with frontend engineers and UX/UI designers
What you’ll need
7+ years of professional backend engineering experience
Proficiency in Node.js, Python, Go, Java, or similar
Experience integrating third-party APIs and data providers
Experience designing scalable real-time data processing systems
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and caching strategies
Experience with WebSockets, message queues, and distributed systems
