About the role
LangChain is hiring a Sales Engineer to help customers design, build, and operate production AI agents, partnering across pre-sales evaluations and post-sale deployments. The role requires deep technical skills in Python/JavaScript and experience with agent frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph.
What you’ll do
Partner with customer engineering teams on pre-sales evaluations and post-sale deployments
Advise on architecture for production AI agents
Share field feedback to improve reusable practices and the platform
Work directly with customers during POCs, architecture reviews, and technical evaluations
Explain technical tradeoffs and build trust with developer audiences
Take responsibility for outcomes and drive AI agents into production
What you’ll need
3+ years in a relevant technical role, ideally at a startup or scale-up
Strong Python, JavaScript, and systems fundamentals
Experience designing agent-based or LLM-powered applications with multi-step workflows, orchestration, and failure handling
Comfortable working directly with customers during POCs, architecture reviews, and technical evaluations
Deployed AI agents in production using LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks
Experience with LLM evaluation, observability, guardrails, cloud environments, containers, and Kubernetes
