Mapbox is hiring a Head of Developer Relations to lead its developer relations strategy and team, grow engagement with the developer community, and partner with cross-functional teams to help developers adopt the platform.
What you’ll do
Lead developer relations strategy and team
Grow engagement with the Mapbox developer community
Build programs that help developers adopt the platform
Represent developer needs internally
Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and other teams
What you’ll need
7+ years in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, Developer Evangelism, or software engineering, including 3+ years leading a team
Experience building and executing developer relations strategies and programs
Technical background with APIs, SDKs, developer tools, and software workflows
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to create talks, demos, workshops, videos, and docs
Proven ability to build authentic relationships and credibility in developer communities
Strong cross-functional leadership and experience influencing Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other stakeholders
