About the role
Integrated Biometrics is hiring a Sales Engineer to lead technical presales for its biometric software business, support partner integrations and troubleshooting, and develop product demonstrations. This role is best suited to a hands-on software engineer with 5+ years of experience building or shipping applications in C, C++, C#, Java, or Python who can communicate technical concepts across audiences.
What you’ll do
Lead technical presales for the biometric software business
Support partners in integrating and troubleshooting software and devices
Test products to develop new solutions and sales demonstrations
Present technical ideas to engineers, salespeople, and program directors
Debug software in production and isolate root causes methodically
Build test rigs and explore unrequested edge cases
What you’ll need
Degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical/computer engineering, or equivalent experience
5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with C, C++, C#, Java, or Python and API/SDK integration
Working knowledge of enterprise/government software deployment, including REST APIs, databases, cloud, and on-premises installs
Software product engineering depth rather than network administration or IT infrastructure background
Strong presentation and communication skills with methodical problem-solving ability
U.S. citizenship and valid U.S. passport required
