About the role
Machinify is seeking an AI Engineer to design and build production-grade agentic systems for auditing medical claims in healthcare. The role requires strong Python engineering, hands-on experience with agent SDKs, and deep knowledge of agent loops and tool use.
What you’ll do
Design and build production-grade agentic systems for medical claims auditing
Implement and tune agent loops and tool-calling behavior
Design structured outputs and tool interfaces for reliable LLM calls
Build and maintain evaluation pipelines for model performance
Optimize LLM workloads with caching, observability, and cost control
What you’ll need
2–4 years of applied ML/AI engineering experience or Master's degree
Strong Python engineering skills with clean abstractions, async, and tested code
Hands-on experience with agent SDKs like OpenAI Agents SDK, Anthropic SDK, or LangGraph
Fluency with Claude Code/Codex and modern coding agents
Solid command of VS Code and Git workflows including branching, rebasing, and PRs
Experience with structured outputs, reasoning models, and long-context systems
