About the role
Design, develop, and secure scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Python, with a focus on API security, documentation, testing, and collaboration with cloud and DevOps teams.
What you’ll do
Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs and microservices
Implement API security measures and authentication/authorization
Create and maintain API documentation with Swagger/OpenAPI
Develop and execute automated tests (Postman, pytest)
Collaborate with application, cloud, security, and DevOps teams
Manage API gateways, rate limiting, throttling, and versioning
What you’ll need
5+ years of software/API development experience
Strong experience with RESTful APIs and microservices
Proficiency in Python and web frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
Knowledge of API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect)
Experience with API gateways and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, CI/CD practices
