About the role
The Head Trader will lead trade execution, trading operations, and trading infrastructure for a Michigan-based RIA, partnering with the CIO to enhance workflows and support firm growth.
What you’ll do
Lead trade execution and trading operations
Manage and improve trading infrastructure and workflows
Collaborate with CIO on growth initiatives
Design and upgrade institutional trading infrastructure
Implement and integrate OMS/EMS/PMS/FIX solutions
Manage trading across multiple custodians and strategies
What you’ll need
Institutional buy-side trading experience
Hands-on trade execution and pre/post-trade process management
Familiarity with FIX, electronic trading platforms, and algorithmic execution
Knowledge of OMS/EMS/PMS distinction and trading workflows
Experience with multiple custodians and prime brokers
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
