About the role
Aeluma is hiring a Senior Program Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of semiconductor and photonics development programs, including schedules, budgets, risks, and phase-gate reviews in Santa Barbara, CA.
What you’ll do
Own end-to-end program delivery from approved intake through commercial release
Lead schedules, budgets, resources, and risks
Conduct phase-gate reviews and cross-project coordination
Strengthen the program management system
Support technical leads and hold teams to commitments
Present to executives on program status and decisions
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related technical field
Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Minimum 7 years in project management, including 3+ in semiconductor, photonics, or comparable hardware
Demonstrated ownership of product development through a formal phase-gate process
Ability to build and defend resource-loaded schedules with dependency mapping and critical path analysis
Experience spanning early development, volume manufacturing, and qualification; familiarity with ISO 9001 and government-funded/export-controlled programs
