About the role
Revolution Medicines is hiring a Staff Cloud Infrastructure / Scientific Computer Engineer to build, operate, and improve hybrid cloud infrastructure supporting scientific computing, data engineering, analytics, and business operations, with emphasis on Kubernetes, observability, Databricks, and cloud cost management.
What you’ll do
Build and operate cloud infrastructure supporting computational science and data engineering
Maintain Kubernetes platforms and containerized workloads in production
Implement observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident management practices
Operate and support Databricks and managed data platform infrastructure
Optimize cloud usage and expenditure through FinOps and cost management
Partner with scientific, data, security, and IT teams
What you’ll need
B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience
8+ years in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps/SRE, or scientific computing
Strong experience with AWS or Azure and Terraform infrastructure as code
Experience operating Kubernetes in production and supporting containerized workloads
Experience with Databricks or comparable managed data platforms
Experience with CI/CD, Linux, observability, and cloud cost optimization
