About the role
Battelle seeks an Engineering Manager to lead its RTAI Division, overseeing rapid prototyping and advanced integration projects while managing staff and technical quality for national security and commercial clients.

What you’ll need
PhD with 3+ years, or Master's with 5+ years, or Bachelor's with 7+ years in systems, software, mechanical, or electrical engineering, applied science, or related technical field
Prior experience leading advanced systems development programs in R&D or advanced engineering environment
Demonstrated experience managing technical staff and allocating resources across multiple projects
Strong communication and leadership skills, engaging senior leadership, clients, and subcontractors, and motivating and developing staff
Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required
Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or other government clients
