About the role
Meta is seeking a Production Systems Engineer to validate and scale AI hardware systems for large-scale data center deployments, working from early bring-up to production readiness across hardware, firmware, and software stacks.
What you’ll do
Validate AI hardware systems from early bring-up through production readiness
Partner across hardware, firmware, software, networking, and capacity engineering
Develop test specifications, validation procedures, and debug methodologies
Lead root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of system-level failures
Analyze system telemetry and fleet health data to identify reliability trends
Define hardware-software interface requirements for telemetry and diagnostics
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
6+ years of experience in hardware systems engineering, silicon/firmware validation, or system-level bring-up
Experience with ASIC bring-up, board-level debug, or large-scale system validation
Experience with high-speed interconnects and memory subsystems (PCIe, NVLink, InfiniBand, DDR5, HBM)
Proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis
Familiarity with Linux-based server environments and data center management tooling
