About the role
PDI Technologies seeks a Principal Technology Sourcing professional to lead complex sourcing initiatives for software, SaaS, cloud, and emerging technologies, including developing strategies, evaluating suppliers, and negotiating contracts.
What you’ll do
Develop sourcing strategies for technology categories
Evaluate suppliers and technology markets
Lead RFPs and negotiations
Advise cross-functional partners on technology investments and supplier decisions
Negotiate complex technology contracts including MSA, SOW, and SLA
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, IT, or related field or equivalent experience
8+ years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management experience
Demonstrated experience sourcing and negotiating software, SaaS, cloud, and other technology solutions
Proven experience leading complex RFI and RFP processes
Strong financial and analytical skills with experience developing business cases and evaluating total cost of ownership
Working knowledge of commercial, security, privacy, data, and IP risks associated with AI and emerging technologies
