About the role
The Default Claims VA QA Analyst I reviews and reconciles VA default claims for accuracy, certifies and transmits filings, and performs quality assurance and audits in line with agency and investor requirements.
What you’ll do
Review and reconcile default claims for accuracy
Certify claims and transmit filings to appropriate entities
Perform quality assurance and audits
Escalate issues in accordance with agency requirements and applicable policies
Manage work to meet strict deadlines
Handle multiple tasks under pressure and changing priorities
What you’ll need
High School diploma required
One or more years of mortgage servicing default experience, QA/QC experience, or college graduate
Moderate knowledge of default claims processes for insurers and investors
Understanding of default servicing process including foreclosure, bankruptcy, loss mitigation, and claims
Moderate understanding of Agency and investor guidelines
Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and time management skills
