About the role
NextGen Federal Systems seeks a Director, Space & Missile Growth to expand its national security space and missile defense presence. The role combines senior customer engagement, opportunity shaping, capture and proposal support, and technical advisory work across government and internal teams.
What you’ll do
Lead customer engagement across national security space and missile defense community
Shape opportunities and support strategic planning
Support capture activities and proposal development
Provide senior technical advisory expertise to government customers and internal teams
Expand NextGen's presence across the space and missile enterprise
Translate customer challenges into actionable business opportunities and technical solutions
What you’ll need
Active TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility at time of hire
15+ years supporting national security space, missile defense, aerospace, intelligence, or related DoW programs
Experience with USSF, Air Force, MDA, SSC, SDA, NRO, Intelligence Community, AFRL, Combatant Commands, or related organizations
Proven ability to engage senior government, military, and industry stakeholders
Understanding of defense acquisition, space architectures, missile defense systems, command and control, and/or mission engineering
Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline
