About the role
Palantir is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Substrate team in New York, focusing on designing and building managed Kubernetes offerings across cloud, on-premises, and other environments while operating and securing infrastructure at scale.
What you’ll do
Design and build managed Kubernetes offerings across cloud, on-premises, and other environments
Operate and secure Palantir's infrastructure at scale
Contribute to system design and architecture for reliability and scaling
Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Kubernetes operators
Build and operate high-scale observability or infrastructure systems
Work with cloud providers and data center networking
What you’ll need
4+ years of professional software development on core infrastructure
2+ years contributing to system design or architecture
Strong proficiency in Go, C/C++, or equivalent systems programming
Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet
Deep familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCE), and networking
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
