What you’ll do
Lead design, implementation, and end-to-end operation of serverless backend services
Build and maintain APIs supporting healthcare processes
Develop event-driven data workflows and integrations
Ensure production reliability, fault tolerance, and observability
Collaborate with SecOps, DevOps, and analytics teams
Own systems from design to production
What you’ll need
7+ years of backend engineering experience with production-grade systems
Expert-level AWS serverless expertise including Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Step Functions, and Kafka/SQS
Strong Python fundamentals including TDD, dependency injection, and clean design
Deep understanding of high-scale distributed systems, data modeling, and observability
Experience building public-facing RESTful APIs for B2C/B2B systems
Healthcare domain experience with EDI standards, HIPAA, claims, or payer systems
