About the role
CareScout is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to own the technical vision and architecture of its Assessment platform, leading modernization of web and mobile applications. The role collaborates across product, engineering, security, infrastructure, and operations to deliver scalable, reliable systems.
What you’ll do
Own the technical vision and architecture of the Assessment platform
Lead engineering practices and implementation
Collaborate with product, engineering, security, infrastructure, and operations teams
Deliver scalable, reliable web and mobile applications
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
Integrate with third-party platforms such as SSO, payment, and eCommerce services
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
10+ years of software development experience, including senior, staff, or principal-level roles
Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, React, React Native, Flutter, Swift, and Kotlin
Strong experience with GraphQL and REST APIs, plus PostgreSQL and MongoDB
Experience building CI/CD pipelines and contributing to DevSecOps practices
Experience delivering large-scale platforms, mobile apps, and B2B APIs in production
