About the role
Senior Accountant role with a privately held distribution company in the Tampa Bay area, owning day-to-day transactional accounting and supporting the CFO with reporting and cash flow modeling. The position also contributes to internal controls and ERP migration, with potential advancement to Controller.
What you’ll do
Own day-to-day transactional accounting
Support CFO with reporting and cash flow modeling
Contribute to internal controls and ERP migration processes
Partner with leadership and learn all facets of the business
What you’ll need
BS in Accounting or Finance
4 to 7+ years of progressive hands-on GL experience in wholesale distribution, manufacturing, or physical inventory environments
Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and variance analysis
Working knowledge of multi-state sales and use tax and resale certificate management
Roll-up-your-sleeves mindset and curiosity to learn every facet of the business
ERP and Avalara experience are a plus
