About the role

What you’ll do

• Leads BWR engineering knowledge
• Performs and reviews inspection-tooling design
• Supports proposals
• Assists with inspections at plant sites
• Designs tooling and complex robotic systems for nondestructive examinations

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology, or Engineering Science may also be accepted
• Minimum 7 years of related experience, with at least 5 years working at or performing design work for a Boiling Water Reactor (BWR)
• Advanced knowledge of engineering standards, techniques, and criteria; advanced problem identification and resolution skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication; highly organized; manages multiple priorities with tight turnaround schedules
• Collaborative team environment; grows network; displays leadership characteristics; practices self-checking and questioning attitude
• Preferred: experience designing mechanical or electrical tooling, robotics, or control systems; hands-on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
