About the role
Lead software engineer role guiding the design, development, and scaling of emerging technology solutions, including AI/ML and cloud-native systems, for a confidential client.
What you’ll do
Guide design, development, piloting, and scaling of software solutions
Apply emerging technologies to business problems
Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and production-ready
Lead technical work across the full software development lifecycle
Mentor engineers and influence technical direction
Partner with product, design, data, security, architecture, and business teams
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 8+ years of experience, or 10+ years without a degree
Progressive experience in software engineering with complex applications, distributed systems, APIs, platforms, or cloud-native services
Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Go, or similar
Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, infrastructure automation, integration patterns, and production support
Experience building or integrating AI, machine learning, generative AI, LLM, agentic, RAG, vector database, or prompt-based solutions
Ability to communicate complex technical topics to engineering, product, architecture, security, and business stakeholders
