About the role
MongoDB is hiring a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager to lead high-impact, cross-functional security programs in the Global Security Office and set the standard for program management across the team. This remote U.S.-based role combines deep security domain knowledge with senior program leadership to drive execution, visibility, and decision quality.
What you’ll do
Lead and manage strategic GSO programs with high business impact and complex cross-functional dependencies
Establish a consistent program management operating system including roadmaps, milestones, risk management, decision logs, and outcome tracking
Build integrated visibility into GSO priorities and progress, connecting team goals to company-level planning
Drive convergence on project issues and resolve cross-functional deadlocks, escalating only for material strategic or enterprise risk
Identify systemic execution improvements using automation, AI-enabled workflows, reusable mechanisms, and common measures
Model MongoDB's Leadership Commitment through clear communication, visible trade-offs, and inclusive leadership
What you’ll need
10+ years driving large-scale cross-functional technical programs across engineering, security, and product organizations
Deep technical fluency in cloud/infrastructure security, IAM, product security, resilience, or enterprise architecture
Proven ability to define multi-year roadmaps and operationalize quarterly goals while balancing process and agility
Exceptional stakeholder management and ability to drive alignment without formal authority
Outstanding written and verbal communication for executive narratives and detailed technical artifacts
Experience with Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, or comparable program and work-management tools
