About the role
SWCA Environmental Consultants seeks a Lead Geospatial Scientist to lead geospatial project delivery for oil and gas clients, develop GIS standards and solutions, coordinate cross-disciplinary teams, and support companywide GIS programs.

What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, Biology, Planning, Computer Science, or a related field
Six years of progressively responsible GIS experience, including senior-level technical leadership and some experience managing others
Experience managing GIS project tasks through the full project lifecycle, including scope development, budgeting support, data collection planning, spatial analysis, deliverable production, and technical documentation
Experience designing, developing, implementing, and administering GIS systems, databases, and workflows
Experience working with complex spatial datasets and enterprise GIS environments, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise
Experience supporting oil and gas development, infrastructure, permitting, environmental compliance, or related energy-sector projects
