About the role

Faurecia is looking for an Automation Engineer to develop and support automation cells and production equipment in Saline, focusing on robot programming, vision systems, and reducing downtime.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and support automation cells and production equipment
  • Ensure supplier standards
  • Troubleshoot and program on the shop floor
  • Maintain maintenance readiness
  • Minimize downtime
  • Improve production performance

What you’ll need

  • 3-5 years of automation experience in manufacturing engineering or automation design/robot programming
  • Robot programming with Fanuc, ABB, or UR
  • Camera verification software experience (Cognex, Keyence, Sick)
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of tooling (EOAT, sonics, bowl feeders, slides, sensors)
  • Electrical schematic knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
