About the role
Fivetran seeks a Customer Solutions Architect in Austin, TX, to act as the primary post-sales technical owner for customers on the Fivetran and dbt platform. The role drives adoption, retention, and expansion through architecture guidance, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with internal teams and partners.
What you’ll do
Serve as primary post-sales technical owner for existing customers
Drive customer adoption, technical strategy, retention, and account growth
Provide architecture guidance and translate business objectives into technical solutions
Engage stakeholders across technical and non-technical audiences
Collaborate with internal teams (AEs/SEs) and technology partners
Manage multiple accounts proactively and self-sufficiently
What you’ll need
2+ years in a post-sales, customer-facing technical role such as Solution Architect, TAM, or Customer Success Engineer
Experience designing scalable data architectures and understanding modern data warehousing/analytics stacks
SQL proficiency and hands-on dbt experience
Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, GCP)
Background in data integration, ETL/ELT, or replication technologies
Working understanding of AI architecture, including LLMs, Knowledge Graphs, and RAG
