About the role
Bounteous is hiring a Technical Director, Account Delivery to act as the senior-most delivery and technical leader for a client account, accountable for client success, delivery quality, and technical decisions across all workstreams. The role blends hands-on technical leadership with people leadership and account profitability responsibilities, with a focus on AI-assisted delivery and frequent client onsite presence
What you’ll do
Serve as primary technical relationship for client’s senior technical leadership
Own end-to-end delivery outcomes across workstreams: schedule, scope, quality, and release readiness
Set and enforce quality standards and delivery KPIs
Hold final technical authority over solution design, architecture, and technology choices
Lead responsible AI-assisted/agentic development adoption with quality, security, and IP controls
Mentor and coach delivery leaders and technical staff
What you’ll need
12-15 years in technology delivery, including as Delivery Director, Associate Director, Senior Manager, or equivalent
Strong hands-on technical background in platforms/architectures
Proven record of owning delivery quality and client outcomes for large multi-workstream engagements
Experience managing delivery budget and margin, including SOW, change-order, and estimation fundamentals
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted or agentic development in a delivery setting
