About the role
Senior application and solution engineering role designing and validating building automation and energy management systems for multi-site customer environments, bridging engineering, sales, and project delivery. The position leads system architecture, site assessments, and proposal development while guiding projects from early design through deployment.
What you’ll do
Design and validate building automation and energy management solutions for multi-site environments
Lead system architecture and site assessments
Develop customer-facing technical proposals and presentations
Provide technical guidance through the project lifecycle
Support multi-site deployments in retail, restaurant, commercial, or similar environments
Translate site survey findings into detailed technical designs
What you’ll need
5+ years of experience with BAS, BMS, or EMS
Strong knowledge of HVAC controls, refrigeration, lighting controls, electrical distribution, and energy sub-metering
Experience with BACnet, Modbus, RS-485, and TCP/IP networking
Hands-on experience with Niagara Framework, JACE controllers, and Honeywell or comparable building automation platforms
Experience conducting site surveys and creating detailed technical designs
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and support large-scale retail or QSR customers
