About the role
AMD seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead software and hardware engineering initiatives from concept to execution, driving program schedules and collaborating across engineering, product, and customer teams to meet business objectives.
What you’ll do
Lead key engineering initiatives from concept to execution
Define, plan, and drive project and program plans aligned with business strategy
Scope technical feasibility of new products with architects and engineers
Develop program schedules and staffing plans considering cross-component dependencies
Establish program management artifacts including timelines, budget, scope, and KPIs
Plan for and mitigate development risks
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
Solid knowledge of technical program management
Outstanding track record of delivering sophisticated software/hardware programs
Experience with Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and Agile methodology
Ability to work with senior executives
