About the role
Investigo is hiring an ASIC Technical Lead for a neurotechnology company developing a high-channel-count neural recording ASIC. The role serves as the internal technical authority, directing an external design partner from architecture through post-silicon validation.
What you’ll do
Serve as internal technical authority for the ASIC program
Oversee external design partner's work
Make milestone decisions from architecture review through post-silicon disposition
Write specifications to keep partner aligned with program needs
What you’ll need
B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with focus on silicon design
5+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC design and development
At least one full ASIC development cycle from concept to silicon (tapeout)
Strong background in analog or mixed-signal IC design or verification
Working knowledge of SPICE/Cadence simulation review, DRC/LVS, and DFT
Experience managing external design partners, several successful tapeouts, regulated medical device environment, and implantable electronics
