About the role
MANTECH is seeking a Software Assurance Evaluation Engineer to support an Intelligence Community customer with source code analysis, tool evaluation, vulnerability identification, and remediation recommendations. The role requires deep systems security and software engineering experience, proficiency in C/C++ or C#, an active TS/SCI polygraph, and expertise in static analysis tools and low-level architectures.
What you’ll do
Support software assurance and security initiatives for a mission-critical Intelligence Community organization
Perform source code analysis
Evaluate and optimize assurance tools
Identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation
Produce technical reports and risk assessments
What you’ll need
15+ years of professional experience, or 13+ years with a Bachelor's degree, or 11+ years with a Master's degree, in Systems Security Engineering, Software Programming, or Computer Science
Strong software analysis or development experience in C/C++ or C# and ability to read/analyze Java
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Experience with tools such as Klocwork, CodeSonar, Fortify, CodePeer, IDA Pro, or Fortran-Lint
Experience with low-level architectures, assembly language, or legacy languages like Ada
Experience with Rust and/or the ability to learn
