About the role
Zanskar is hiring a Senior Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, support reporting and budgeting, and improve accounting workflows through automation at its hybrid Salt Lake City office.
What you’ll do
Maintain accurate, timely, audit-ready financial records
Support financial reporting and budgeting
Improve accounting workflows through automation
Prepare reconciliations and journal entries tied to supporting documentation
Perform month-end close and balance-sheet account reconciliations
Present financial results or variance analyses to non-finance stakeholders
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
3-5 years progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on general ledger accounting
At least 1 year performing month-end close and balance-sheet account reconciliations
Working knowledge of US GAAP and ability to research and resolve accounting issues independently
Experience using AI tools or spreadsheet automation to streamline recurring accounting processes
CPA or CPA-eligible; NetSuite and external audit support experience preferred
