About the role
Lead operational EHS compliance and program management for Google's data centers, driving continuous improvement and cross-functional initiatives while managing a team of EHS Program Managers.
What you’ll do
Identify, evaluate, and analyze operational EHS risks and emerging scenarios, tracking trends to determine business impact and communicating findings to stakeholders.
Monitor and ensure EHS compliance at regional data centers to guarantee uninterrupted operations, providing back-up EHS support.
Develop, implement, and track strategic plans and performance metrics for global and regional EHS focus areas.
Support the EHS Operations team in efficient execution of systems and projects, utilizing budget and resources effectively.
Collaborate extensively with stakeholders to build relationships, foster a culture of safety and compliance, and drive engagement across all levels of the organization.
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of EHS experience
5 years of program or project management experience
Experience interpreting and applying federal, state and local EHS regulations
Technical understanding and experience with LLMs, enterprise AI tools, or AI/ML development workflows
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
