About the role
Senior Backend Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications, services, and databases for mission-critical systems in the Intelligence Community, using Python, PostgreSQL, and containerized deployments on Kubernetes/OpenShift.
What you’ll do
Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Python
Manage PostgreSQL databases including schema migrations and query optimization
Deploy and support containerized applications in Kubernetes and OpenShift
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Collaborate with product, operations, and security teams throughout the software lifecycle
What you’ll need
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
9+ years of experience in backend development or related technical field
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
Deep expertise in Python development and API architecture
Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes/OpenShift
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development
