About the role
RTX is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (RSE) to lead systems requirements management, verification, and qualification activities for defense programs in Tucson, AZ. The role partners with systems and hardware teams and the Chief Engineer on technical tasks, reviews, and mentoring.
What you’ll do
Lead systems requirements management, verification, and qualification activities
Support systems and hardware teams and the Chief Engineer on program technical tasks
Participate in program technical reviews
Mentor systems engineering team members
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5+ years of relevant experience
Experience with systems software, firmware, hardware, requirements, integration, and/or test
Experience in test planning, verification of system requirements, and/or system qualification
Active and transferable Top Secret security clearance required before start
U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility
Experience with DOORS, Cameo, and/or cPDM
