About the role
Circuit Stream is seeking a contract instructor to teach finance, investment management, and fintech to teenagers in Bothell, WA. The instructor will deliver provided curricula, facilitate hands-on activities, and support student progress in an onsite summer program.
What you’ll do
Deliver provided curricula on finance, investment management, and fintech
Facilitate hands-on learning and simulations
Support students’ progress and safety
Keep students engaged, participating, and excited to learn
Explain financial risk and market concepts without jargon or hype
Maintain a focused, safe learning environment
What you’ll need
Professional, academic, or substantial project experience in finance, investment management, fintech, banking, or wealth management
Completed degree in Business, Finance, Economics, FinTech, or related discipline; or Masters/PhD in progress or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of investment fundamentals, portfolio construction, market data, diversification, and risk
Comfort with TradingView, Yahoo Finance, paper-trading platforms, CoinMarketCap, Coinbase, or Etherscan, or ability to learn quickly
Available to teach on weekdays during the summer for all course dates
Strong communication and facilitation skills; teaching, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, camp, or youth-program experience strongly preferred
