About the role
Axion is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design and scale cloud infrastructure, build deployment and reliability systems, and support product teams in shipping faster. The role requires deep GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and observability expertise, with participation in on-call rotation.

Shape and scale Axion's cloud infrastructure
Build and maintain deployment, reliability, and security systems
Enable product teams to ship faster
Participate in a shared on-call rotation to support production systems
Use agents to accelerate delivery
Manage infrastructure for FedRAMP environments
What you’ll need
4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
Deep hands-on experience with GCP services such as Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL, or Pub/Sub
Strong proficiency with Kubernetes cluster management, networking, scaling, and troubleshooting
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
Strong background in observability tooling such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent
