About the role
Turing is hiring an experienced software engineer to evaluate and improve AI coding models by reviewing generated code and agent behavior, creating evaluation criteria, and supporting evaluation workflows. This is a fully remote, contract position paying $170-$200 per hour.
What you’ll do

What you’ll need
5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, or another major production language
Experience with substantial real-world codebases and strong code-review skills
Ability to clearly explain why implementations are correct, incorrect, or could be improved
Strong written communication and experience using modern LLMs or AI coding tools
Experience with LLM evaluation, coding agents, RLHF, preference data, rubric design, or post-training
