About the role
Senior Consultant bridging business needs and technology solutions for back-office finance systems in global financial services, with focus on financial reporting, derivatives accounting, and enterprise finance transformation initiatives.
What you’ll do
Bridge business needs and technology solutions across back-office finance systems
Support strategic initiatives in financial reporting, derivatives accounting, and enterprise financial systems
Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Technology, and business stakeholders
Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and solution requirements
Manage product backlogs within Azure DevOps at Epic, Feature, User Story, and Task levels
Coordinate global delivery teams across onsite and offshore models
What you’ll need
8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or related role in Banking or Financial Services
Strong experience supporting back-office finance systems in a global or international organization
Deep understanding of financial instruments including derivatives such as options, futures, and swaps
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and US GAAP standards
Hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and product backlog management in Azure DevOps
Strong SQL, Excel, data analysis, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
