About the role
Bluesight is hiring a Customer Data Engineer for Pre-Sales to own customer data integration, partnering with Sales and hospital teams to guide technical discovery and prepare implementation handoffs, while improving integration tooling.
What you’ll do
Own customer data integration
Help hospital customers realize value from the platform
Partner with Sales and hospital teams to assess data
Guide technical discovery and collection
Prepare implementation handoffs
Improve integration tooling and processes
What you’ll need
4+ years in technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical implementation in B2B SaaS (health tech preferred)
Ability to lead customer-facing technical engagements
Ability to translate technical data requirements to non-technical clinical leaders and hold deep technical discussions
SQL skills and ability to analyze complex datasets
Experience with EHR/EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) and interoperability (HL7, FHIR)
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and secure data transfer (SFTP, API security) for PHI, and familiarity with cloud data warehousing (Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery)
