About the role
MongoDB is hiring a Manager, Executive Communications to build and run executive storytelling across the company, partnering with senior executives and communications teams. This U.S.-based role with remote/hybrid options focuses on writing, messaging, thought leadership, and integrating AI into communications workflows.
What you’ll do
Serve as day-to-day communications partner to senior executives
Write across executive voices for events, keynotes, social, bylines, memos, and briefings
Build and run communications playbooks for recurring executive moments
Integrate AI tools into research, drafting, and briefing preparation
Partner with AEO/GEO team to improve executive discoverability in AI-driven answers
Prepare executives for speaking opportunities and measure communications impact
What you’ll need
6+ years in communications at a high-growth technology, enterprise software, SaaS, or cloud company
Exceptional ghostwriting range and ability to capture executive voice
Experience building executive thought leadership platforms including speaking, social, and bylines
Sound judgment and discretion with confidential and sensitive material
Systems mindset for repeatable playbooks, briefs, and intake processes
Fluency with AI tools and a data-informed approach to measuring impact
