About the role
Zapcom Group is hiring a Staff Engineer to lead a full-stack customer-experience engineering pod for a large retail enterprise, driving architecture, hands-on React/React Native development, and AI-assisted engineering practices.
What you’ll do
Lead a customer-experience engineering pod
Drive delivery, architecture, and engineering standards
Perform hands-on web and mobile development
Support production systems and on-call L3 incidents
Adopt AI-assisted engineering practices
Communicate with stakeholders and manage agile delivery
What you’ll need
8-10 years of front-end or full-stack engineering experience
Deep hands-on React and TypeScript expertise
Production experience with React Native (iOS/Android) and Redux
Experience designing micro front-end architecture and reusable component libraries
Experience with Node.js (Express) BFF, REST APIs, and Redis
Experience leading a small agile engineering team and using AI-assisted development tools
