About the role
Emerson is hiring a Staff DevOps Software Engineer for its Test & Measurement Group to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation, build/release systems, and engineering infrastructure across Windows, Linux, and macOS. The role focuses on improving developer productivity and reliable software delivery in a collaborative, distributed engineering environment.
What you’ll do
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Build and maintain automation for testing, deployment, and engineering workflows
Support build and release processes for complex software products
Maintain engineering infrastructure and development platforms
Improve developer productivity and software delivery reliability
Collaborate with distributed engineering teams
What you’ll need
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Minimum 2+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering
Strong programming and scripting skills using Python or similar languages
Experience with Git and working in Linux and Windows environments
Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms
US Citizenship or Green Card Holder
