About the role

What you’ll do

• Own product direction and technical execution for Scout
• Build and support full-stack production web applications and SaaS features
• Conduct customer discovery and manage integrations
• Apply AI-assisted engineering with strong judgment and testing
• Ensure reliability, security, and responsible product delivery
• Prioritize competing requests, document decisions, and surface risks early

What you’ll need

• Track record of personally building, shipping, and supporting production web applications or SaaS products
• Strong coding fundamentals and practical full-stack ability across frontend, backend, and database components
• Hands-on experience with APIs, authentication/authorization, webhooks, databases, version control, testing, deployment, and production troubleshooting
• Effective use of AI coding tools with judgment to verify output, write meaningful tests, and maintain the codebase
• Customer-facing experience explaining technical concepts, gathering requirements, and guiding implementations
• Product judgment, clear communication, and dependable ownership; familiarity with recruiting technology, LLM apps, or enterprise SaaS is valued
