About the role
Zact seeks a Product Owner to define, prioritize, and deliver its integrated payables product for banks and commercial customers, owning the end-to-end payables experience and product backlog. This remote role combines product ownership with technical delivery management, requiring close collaboration with engineering, design, bank delivery, sales, and partner teams.
What you’ll do
Define, prioritize, and deliver the AP and business payments product roadmap
Own the end-to-end payables experience and product backlog
Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews
Manage release planning and dependencies across teams and external partners
Engage engineers on APIs, data models, integrations, and system design
Gather requirements from banks, business customers, and partners to validate solutions
What you’ll need
5+ years as Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst on B2B SaaS or fintech products
Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements for complex workflows
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes including invoice capture, coding, approvals, PO matching, and payment runs
Working knowledge of B2B payment rails including virtual cards, ACH, wires, and checks
Technical fluency to engage engineers on APIs, data models, and integrations
Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to business audiences and business needs to technical teams
