About the role
Bahwan CyberTek is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to modernize the enterprise product catalog for American Eagle and Aerie through cloud-ready, event-driven microservices, integrations, and data modeling. The role focuses on building robust, secure APIs and optimizing platform performance in cloud-native environments.
What you’ll do
Modernize the enterprise product catalog
Build and maintain microservices and API architectures
Implement event-driven integrations using streaming platforms
Design and optimize relational, NoSQL, and memory-cached databases
Support data migration strategies and cutover planning
Deploy and orchestrate workloads in cloud-native environments
What you’ll need
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot/Cloud, Node.js/TypeScript, Go, or Python
Deep experience with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ
Expertise in designing and optimizing databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis
Practical experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools
Knowledge of authentication protocols, SSO, and API security gateway concepts
Experience with PIM and catalog management solutions such as Akeneo
