Redwire seeks a Subcontracts Manager to lead and grow the subcontract management function for Federal and commercial programs, overseeing complex subcontracting, team development, supplier performance, and compliance. This remote role manages acquisitions from strategy through closeout and supports business development.
What you’ll do
Lead and grow the subcontract management function across Federal and commercial programs
Oversee complex subcontracting activities from acquisition strategy through closeout
Develop the subcontract team and supporting processes
Manage supplier performance and risk
Ensure compliant execution with Government and commercial contracting practices
Support proposals and business development, including supplier engagement and pricing
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Contracts, Finance, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may be considered
Experience leading and developing a subcontract, procurement, supply chain, contracts, or related business team
Experience managing complex Federal Government and commercial subcontracts from acquisition strategy through closeout
Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, Government and commercial contracting practices, and subcontract flowdown requirements
Experience negotiating complex supplier agreements and performing cost and price analysis, source selection, and supplier-performance management
Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required authorizations due to ITAR/export regulations
